Carta Bella-Hello Again Layout

I always look forward to a little vacation time to get to stay home and fiddle around in my craft room. It is absolutely my all time favorite to be able to wake up in the morning with no rushing and have a morning cup of coffee while playing with some scraps as I slowly come to life. This morning was one of those fun mornings. I played with my collection of Hello Again and am sharing my layout I created.
This is a simple layout using 3x4 photos on a grid design.

Supplies used:
Hello Again Papers
Hello Again Stickers
Studio Calico Vellum Diecuts & Chipboard Hearts
Dear Lizzy Fabric Frames
Amy Tangerine Diecuts & Flair Badge
Teresa Collins Enamel Dots & Decorative Brad
Generic Black Photocorners
Quick Quotes Chalk Ink

Thanks for stopping by, just having fun in my craft room! Tisha

Less is More Layout Share

Part of my life after 5:00 pm, I design layouts for my lovely scrapbook store for kits that the store sells. We sell double page kits. It is fun to have a kit and create from just what is in front of me. Sometimes, it is lots of embellishments and few papers and sometimes it is the reverse, many papers and little embellishments. I love my after 5:00 job!

This is a layout, I fell in love with. The kit for the Authentique Anchored layout included papers with a package of Fancy Pants buttons and two Bella Blvd stick flags and generic twine. I love how it came together. I get so excited manipulating paper to make it into something fun.

What I did to the paper:
**I created most of the photo mats and cards to appear as "waves". I pop dotted certain corners and curled others to create a gentle movement across the two page spread.
**I punched holes through some of the half inch paper strips and threaded crochet thread through the holes for a nautical theme.
**I cut 2x2 squares and snipped them into flags, punch tole and threaded with blue twine to put across top of page (as if they were fluttering in the wind).

Just a happy share on a minimalist embellished layout that is just as fun, in my opinion, as a heavy embellished layout!

Thanks for stopping by, Tisha :)

Old & New Product Layout Share

I love to mix up older product stash with newer product stash. Making a blended layout. This is a layout I scrapped using Teresa Collins-Family Stories and Dear Lizzy -Polka Dot Party papers with a mixture of older embellishments and newer embellishments.

The older embellishments are my old Making Memories Pink Rubons I used with my newer Amy Tangerine Alphabet Stickers. They went perfectly!

I have lots of these older buttons that came on sticky foam (I can not even remember the manufacturer, I think I "collected" every color. I am a sucker for buttons. I was happy to get to use them! These buttons are vintage 2005, I think :) I took them off the sticky foam and used my My Mind's Eye Twine. Sweet!

Thanks for checking out my layout share!

Smiles, Tisha!

Little Craft Bucket

My Little Craft Bucket

She sits on my work table corralling my tools for my ready. She has been with me since 2003. There have been all kinds of impressive tool caddies, cute and adorable, to come along. However, I am not tempted. I know my little craft bucket is durable and quite the worker. I have her stuffed to the max; yet, everything is readily and easily available. Today, Little Craft Bucket, it is all about you!

She sits on my craft table, unassuming in her excellence!

Bird's Eye View of Little Craft Bucket.

Break it down: The tools and Gadgets of Little Craft Bucket.

My three favorite scissors and two favorite rulers. Pink handles are for fussy cutting, green handles are for quick cuts, and grey handles are for ribbon cutting. Rulers are for measuring and helping place titles.

My favorit sharpie and number two pencil and my magic eraser that quickly disappears smudges and all pencil marks!

Tools I use quite alot: my wire cutters, tweezers for heat embossing, modeling paste spatulas, little hammer, rub-on tool, and dull knife to pry this and that!

Attachers: Yes she holds them all! Crop-a-dile, Fastenater, regular stapler, tiny attacher, and my favorite $2 hole puncher from Staples!

My three reliable adhesives!

Yes, I still use deco edge scissors and my old faithful Making Memories any where punch and eyelet setter!

She holds even more!

She's got a ready to go plastic spoon (you never know when you will need a spoon!), old scissors, hobby knife, paint brushes, ink pens, hand lotion, foam adhesives, distress tool, old birthday card, staple refills for all staplers, foam pads, and some loose coins in the bottom.

Yes, this Little Craft Bucket deserves a day of recognition and honor!

Thank you Little Craft Bucket for keeping me all together at the craft table!!

Mother's Day Card

I love creating for Mother's Day. This year I created a simple and light card. I wanted to keep my card toned down on layers that I normally tend to create. I was happy and it feels sweet and light to me. I put my sentiment on the inside.
Thanks for stopping by and Happy Mother's Day to all mothers!!!

Supplies Used:
Bazzil cardstock from my stash for the card base. I have no idea of the color or how old it is, but it is a soft butter yellow
Paper from my 6x6 pads-Dear Lizzy Neopolitan and Crate Paper On Trend
Butterflies are from vellum scraps and my Martha Stewart butterfly punch
Petite sequins of multi-color
Dear Lizzy jar stamp

Just add GOLD!

Gold is so lovely! And when you want something gold for your project, well you want it gold. :) My lately gone gold addiction is gold doilies. I am having a delightful time painting doilies with my Krylon Gold Leafing Pen. I have had this pen for at least 7 years, seriously. And it is now getting a work out. I have almost used it up. It covers so well and is pure eye candy. Warning: the pen does smell.

I also get double reward for my work. I will lay my doily I am painting over a piece of paper so that when I pull the doily up, I have the negative imprint. Sweet!!!

Just normal doilies from the baking section of your local market.

Awesome imprints for a second use!

This is my current scratch paper that I use for catching mist sprays or in this case, gold ink! It will make a lovely background for something eventually.

Happy Gold Wednesday! Tisha

Not So Everyday.

Take every opportunity to scrapbook the not so everyday and scrapbook something that is not so ordinary.

Over the weekend, I was playing with some challenges for National Scrapbook Day. I wanted to scrapbook some photos from my sister's wedding shower. I had these oh so cute photos of the pretty cake and table setting her friends had put together. I had to scrapbook these photos. I had the usual people shots and opening gift shots, but these photos... Honestly, it is what I remember the most.  My sister's friends had baked cute bakery items and the sweetest cake. They went to every flea market shop in the area and bought all the dainty tea cups and serving plates they could find.  It was so delightful! This is really what I wanted to scrapbook for my album.  So I did!

I used my Webster Pages Sprinkled with Love Alison Kreft papers and lots of gold trimings. I used Art Anthology Gold medium to make modeling paste hearts on the background. I love this medium! Then I used pink thickers from the Amy Tangerine Plus One for my title. Absolutely enjoyed this page.

Have a sweet day! Tisha

Put it on a tray!

This month at my LSS, I have spotlighted using our scrappy supplies for little treasures for the home in our weekly newsletter. This is my last project spotlighted and I am sharing here at my little blog.

I have so enjoyed using the Amy Tangerine Plus One line! It has the beautiful yellow and grey and teal and hints of pink. I was really late buying this line because I didn't think I would use it. Some of the embellishments I didn't get as they were out of stock. My bad!
But the line is Oh so Yummy!!

Products used: 7 Gypsies Tray; Amy Tangerine-Plus One papers and clips and flair; Prima wood die-cut house; Chalk label-Fancy Pants Design; Rooster from Michael's Dollar Bin.

Thanks for stopping by! ~Tisha
